My story

Figgy is an adorable, sweet, affectionate and very friendly kitty. She has a beautiful, soft, buff-colored coat. A youthful 14 years young, she loves to play with her human friends. Figgy’s mom has gone through difficult financial challenges, had to change her living situation, and was unable to take her cat with her. Figgy has a mild hyperthyroid condition which is managed with an inexpensive pill that is crushed and hidden in her food. She is otherwise in good health and is comfortable around other cats.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a kitty (refers to both cats and kittens), is fun and at the same time, a lifetime commitment. An application is given to potential adopters asking some basic questions. There is an adoption agreement reflecting all the vet information and agreement terms. Foster parents are always delighted to answer questions. To provide continuity for the kitty, the foster parent will deliver the kitty to the new home. To help defray the cost of veterinary care, we ask an adoption fee of $125.00 or two for $200.00. For older cats, we often have sponsors to cover the fee.
