My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PB short for Peanut Butter

PB came to us just a week old, found with his dead sibling. PB is 6 years old.He has lived his whole life in foster. He was raised with 2 human kids, cats, and dogs.He does well with other cats and as well with a blind dog. PB loves guiding the blind dog. PB has always been independent and kept his distance from all humans. Because of this and the fact that no one ever cared to give him a try he remains with us, still to this day.
PB has struggled with sudden ear issues that the foster has dealt with and treated on and off. He saw the vet every year and it leads to nothing more than basic ear meds to treat infection and pain. But suddenly PB started acting mean towards everyone and significantly noticeable something is just not right. He would hiss and growl, but then he will come and sit on someone’s lap all within 3 min. I guess all on his terms.
Another vet visit leads to nothing but meds. Well this time we decided to ask our new vet to do full physical and assessment. Sure enough, the same ear he’s always had issues with was full of infection and puss due to a polyp.
PB most likely has had it for years, and the the whole time it was causing him discomfort, soreness, oozing infection, and bleeding into his nasal cavity. PB recently had surgery to remove polyp. He is still very grumpy, but each day he is getting better. PB loves to groom humans. He will lick a human until he thinks they are clean enough. It actually tickles.
PB's only request is that his happy forever home include a dog or 5 and maybe one could be a cat loving little.
