Meet Tess, a beautiful 1-year-old female tabby with Bengal-like spots. Tess was part of a group of five cats that was dumped in downtown Waterbury after her former owners moved away. This cutie is now looking for her forever home.

Tess loves people and still has the curiosity of a kitten.  She takes a moment to warm up to newcomers, but before long she's purring up a storm and asking for belly rubs.  Tess loves attention and she loves sitting with you looking for scritches, playing with a string toy and exploring her environment.

Tess came from a multi-cat situation and would do well with another young, friendly cat.  The best home for her would be one where she can get plenty of stimulation and attention between naps.  Because of her time outside, she is extremely food motivated and has to be watched for overeating.

Tess was born around April 2021.  She is currently being fostered in Naugatuck.  She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
