Meet Peru, this scruffy little girl had quite the journey before coming to CARE. She was abandoned by her owner at the border and then wound up at a kill shelter before being rescued by CARE. She is missing her left eye but it doesn't slow her down at all! She is about 7-8 years old and despite everything has a happy go lucky personality. We believe she is a Havanese/Schnauzer blend. She is all ready to find a forever home to spoil her like the princess she is. If you think that may be you please fill out an application so we can chat!

This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted.
