My story

Hi my name is Bon Bon. I am so misunderstood, all I want is love and someone to give me time to feel comfortable. I came into rescue from an abusive situation and my owner being jailed. I do have an old unknown injury to my front leg; doctor says I don't need surgery if in a calm home and not a lot of activity. I really don't like to be collared or leash due to the abuse I was subjected too. I will be your lap dog, just want love, however I do have trust issues and needs to be the one to make the first moves, I don't not like to be picked up and have been known to nip, my previous owner was not nice to me and would swing my around on a leash. I get along great with other little dogs, I like to chase the cats.
Bon Bon is a chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, weighs about 5#. He is housetrained, up to date on vaccines, neutered and micro chipped. He is in southern Idaho, transport within the northwest is available to approved adopters. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com ask for BonBon.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
