My story

Heartwarming, Hilarious, Affectionate Rosalee is a heartwarming, hilarious, and affectionate lady who lives a relaxed and curious life! This snuggly soul is your best companion because she wants to be curled up next to you or on you as much as possible. Talk to her, and she will chat back. She will sleep contentedly in her bed and seems to do well with the resident cats in her foster home - and might even like a nice dog friend! Rosalee LOVES playtime, and her favorites are wand toys, string toys, and the ball tower! So many toys, so little time...! Rosalee is SUPER CUTE when she plays. This sweet lass was born with Manx Syndrome and no tail, but she does not let that affect her at all - she knows it just makes her unique. She has hind leg paralysis, which doesn't inhibit her, she just cheerfully and cleverly adapts - she walks bipedal style and gets around perfectly! Due to this, Rosalee is fecal incontinent and requires some extra medical care, which may include meds, a regulated diet, and/or manual expression. Incontinent cats are frequently overlooked because potential adopters may assume the worst - that the cat's incontinence is out-of-control. But not all incontinent cats require the same amount or type of care, and some simply require a routine with very little special care! And in every other way, Rosalee is "normal" - fun, loving, and a great companion! Contact APA! for information on how to care for little Rosalee. Each of Rosalee's achievements calls for celebration! She is joyous and carefree, a total delight. This determined and happy girl is guaranteed to bring smiles to her forever family. She is ready to share her love and sweetness! Contact us if you have any questions or to schedule a meet and greet! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Rosalee, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
