My story

Schelle is a wonderful companion cat. She enjoys spending time in the window watching lizards and birds. She would love a home where she can cozy up with her person and watch TV in the evenings. She would do well with other fur siblings as well.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $150 for adult dogs, $150 for puppies. Cats, $50 and kittens, $70.

We do have an adoption contract. We do require a home visit and often, follow up visits, depending upon the pet's needs. We visit with and get to know potential adopters and work with people wanting to give love and a home to our rescued darlings.

More about this rescue

I rescued my first dog in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina - I went there with HSUS and when no one came back for one special greyhound/shepherd I met there, I sent for him and we lived happily together until he passed.
We rescue most of our pets from the local shelter. Many we rescue are in serious need of medical care. We provide the very best care available and we have seen miracle after miracle.
