My story

Trixie, as all other unspayed females cats left to fend for themselves, had a very difficult time surviving out in the cruel world. Still, she's such a sweet, gentle and trusting soul. We brought Trixie in for her spay; she was pregnant at the probable age of five months old. Trixie's little body won't have to endure giving birth and mothering her babies in a crate for six or more weeks. She's free to be the little girl she is. Trixie enjoys attention and observing the other residents. She's yet to make a feline friend here, but she's open to it! DOB: approx 5/1/21.

Additional adoption info

Please email for an application to thelittlecats@gmail.com We do check references, including your veterinarian. Pre and/or post adoption home visits may be conducted. Prior to adoption, all TLC cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and healthy in every way! We diligently seek to match the needs and purrsonality of the individual cat with the adoptive family. We believe that the adoption is a life-time commitment and should not be entered into lightly.

More about this rescue

The Little Cats' Rescue (TLC-Rescue) was founded in 2003. We are an all volunteer staff with foster homes and "the sanctuary," where the cats live happily and freely together, uncaged. We in aggressively promote spay/neuter through education and assistance. The Little Cats' Rescue is in need of volunteers in many areas: socialization, transportation, webmaster, clerical, fundraising, adoption center attendants, handy-person, kenneling, etc. TLC is a Florida 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, and all donations are tax deductible. Please email if you are able to help in any way - time, money, supplies, or all of the above.
