My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: December 2016

Joy (ID#21244) is a gorgeous young lady who absolutely lives up to her name. She is the sweetest, happiest, most fun loving, and easy-going girl. Joy came from a colony of about 125 cats our rescue has been helping and she is officially now ready to find her perfect forever family. Joy is very good with all the other cats in her foster home and would love for them all to be her friends. It lends her to be bullied sometimes, when they don’t feel the same way, so she will need a home with another friendly, easy going feline that will befriend and play with her. She would also do well as your only feline companion if you can offer her all the love and playtime her little heart desires. She is a spirited little girl whose favorite pastimes include chasing ping pong balls, playing with catnip pillows, cat wands and talking to you. If you are looking to add a new best friend to your home, this little love is the whole package.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
