My story

Harper is a beautiful quite kitty. She mostly keeps to herself as she is uncomfortable in the shelter. Having a bunch of cats running around tends to make her nervous so she usually will run back to her cage and wait for her caretakers to come and visit with her. She loves attention and to be petted and held. Because of her timidness around other animals she would probably be best suited to a quiter home with other cats that arent too aggressive.

MGHS is open Tuesday - Saturday from 12pm-5pm. For more info on Harper please call (434)985-3203.

Go meet their pets

Our open hours are: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from Noon until 5 PM. We also will open at other times by appointment. Just call us and we'll try to arrange a more convenient time for you to stop by. To find us, go to the Greene County Landfill, just before the entrance, turn left toward the park, and we're the first building on the left. You can also find us with some of our cats, every other Saturday at the Ruckersville Tractor Supply!
