Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Birdie and I'm such a good girl. I could be your next best friend and partner attached to your hip. My foster parents call me Princess, Sweetness and of course Sweetheart because I encapsulate all those words. I'm a transfer from Texas. I declined offers from ASPCA as being a poster child because I'm looking for a loving home where I can literally lounge, cuddle and be with my family throughout the day. I am crate and potty trained but I also do well and can fit into small places in your bed. I am a routine gal and love to be companied in your backyard morning and evening to do my potties. I eat twice a day and am extremely easy going. Could you be my forever home and ultimate cuddle buddy?
WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
