Meet Bullet!! This tiny Boston terrier/ pocket pit / mutt mix came to us from a living hell. He was living in horrible conditions with 5 other dogs. 3 of the dogs starved to death & he and two others survived but were skeletal. Several months of good food & good vet care later Bullet is ready for adoption. Bullet is about 13 years old. He loves to snuggle & if you’re sitting he will crawl right on your lap to cuddle. He's about 30-35 lbs so he doesn't take too much space! He loves treats & he’s good with other dogs & cats. Bullet has one issue that has held up getting him adopted & that is that he is snappy when he’s scared. You can pick him up, pet him, snuggle him & he’s good. But if you try to put something over his head or near his eyes he snaps. We believe that he has poor eye sight ( he is an elder bull) & that probably someone was mean to him. If you go slow & go at his pace he is very sweet. Bullet would love to go to a quiet home that is low key where he can spend his days napping in a sunny spot or binge watching Netflix. He would be great in a home with cats or an older dog who wants a companion. Please SHARE to help us find Bullet a forever home!! Preferably somewhere where there is no Thunder so he doesn’t feel obligated to hide in the bathroom Apply to adopt Bullet today!! Bullet’s adoption fee is $200. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Bullet is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If he is adopted by a senior citizen a generous donor will sponsor his adoption fee. He will come with six months of heartworm prevention and two bags of food.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
