Cheyenne is a sweet little soul who was rescued from a hoarding situation with 110 other dogs. She's very timid around new people and has had to learn that there really are nice people in the world. She thrives in an environment with other dogs and must have a play and cuddle buddy in her new home. Her favorite thing is to do zoomies in the backyard with a friend.
Cheyenne is potty trained to go outside and also has potty pads she will use in the house if needed. She has recently learned to sleep with her foster mom.
Cheyenne is partial to women and still unsure of men, however she has learned to jump up on the couch while foster dad is around. She prefers mom's lap. She is skittish with sudden movement or noises but is learning to relax and not always be on guard. She will need a highly secure backyard and would not be able to live in an apartment setting. Cheyenne has recently grown comfortable with a harness but still needs leash training. She also has learned to love being in a sling so she can be close to her foster mom while she's working around the house. Due to how timid Cheyenne is she would not do well in a household with children. She thrives in a peaceful environment with her many foster siblings. She needs a family or parent who will be patient with her while she learns to trust a new owner and environment. Getting her to come out of her shell takes a little time but is so rewarding.
Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
