Take the Pet Home
Will you be the one who really sees me? The person who stops and looks into my amber eyes and decides to give me a chance?
My name is Nina and I have waited all my life to have a home. You are my hope.
My Physical Info
My Rescue Story
I was just a small puppy when I was put in a cardboard box with my 4 litter mates and left at the side of a busy highway. Presumably whoever did that didn't care if we died of dehydration and starvation.
Fortunately, a caring person picked up the box and took us to the local shelter. I've been here ever since, as has my sister Nunu, who is also on this site.
My Temperament.
I am a quiet dog and a little shy with strangers, though I do like to do 'high-five' with you if you crouch down and reach out your hand to me.
https://youtube.com/shorts/ssLvLH8Y2Jw?feature=share Once I know you I enjoy being petted and will roll on my back and look up at you with gentle eyes asking for more.
All the other dogs here are comfortable around me because of my friendly nature.
My Energy Level:
Moderate.
Since I know every inch of this place and there's not a lot of opportunity to go out and explore, I tend to spend much of my time lying around or playing with the other dogs. It's quite likely that, once I am familiar with my new life, I will enjoy going for long walks with you. Right now that's not something I ever do.
I get along with:
Training:
Health notes:
I am spayed and vaccinated.
Adoption Fee;
My adoption fee of $800 + tax includes my airfare to Vancouver.

LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 8 years of age, though each potential match will be considered on a case by case basis. Take the Pet Home
As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
