Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Updated 9/22/2022:
Jazz is a precious Great Pyrenees/Black and Tan Coonhound mix and is the epitome of a "Gentle Giant." (Unlike some of our foster dogs, her breed mix isn't a guess; we do know who her parents were.) She was born 11/21/2021 and has a very sweet, gentle disposition and tolerates some snuggling. She seems to be mostly a home-body, not particularly eager to experience new things or new places. She has been around lots of other dogs (of many sizes) but has not been around small children or cats.
The adoption fee for Jazz is $200. She has been spayed and microchipped; she's up-to-date on her vaccines. She's been dewormed and is receiving monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Because of her current size and growth, we expect her to be a big girl when he's full grown.
We started crate training with Jazz as she recovered from her spay surgery. Since then she's mastered using a doggie door and has indoor/outdoor freedom at her foster home. She loves air conditioning and sleeping on a human bed! With any pup, you can expect that you'll need to do some work to reinforce what she's learned and get her used to your routine. Her ideal home has a large fenced yard - she will need some training to get accustomed to leash walking.
If you want more information about Jazz, call or text Jody at 352-316-5155 or email her at SCRWestLevy@gmail.com. Thanks for your interest in adopting - and for your patience as we are an all-volunteer rescue! (We do keep our posts current! Sometimes we have to repost a pup when an adoption falls through. Thanks for understanding.)
