My name is Nadine, I am a pretty mantle female Great Dane with natural ears (at least everyone tells me I’m pretty so I have to believe it!) and I don’t know my birthdate but they think I am about 10 months to a year old. If you are a Disney fan you will love the hidden Mickey face on the back of my neck! I am having so much fun in my foster home with my big Dane foster brother who by the way, looks a lot like me! I really like it here and they are being so nice to me but I would love to find a forever family of my own.
My foster brother is a great playmate, and he has taught me so much already! He helped me to learn that my foster mom and dad are really super people. I do take a few minutes to warm up to new people but once I know you want to be nice to me, I love to be petted! I am trying hard to learn my manners, like sit and walking nicely on a leash but it is hard to remember when I get excited for new things. I have learned my crate is a safe place for me and I now know that pottying is done outside only! I can be very gentle and will gently take any treats offered to me. My foster mom is teaching me to keep my nose off the counter and tables and I am trying to remember that.
I love to play, run zoomies in the yard and I can do a pretty good bunny hop when I want to. Inside the house I do love to cuddle and chill out. Everyone tells me I am so sweet with the best personality, I really want to please, so I hope my forever family finds me soon. My best home would be with another dog to play with and help me with my confidence, so I don’t get too scared.
