My story

The name "Bonnie" means beautiful, cheerful, and good, so it fits this 14-month-old Bonnie to a tee!! She is a 60- pound retriever/hound mix--with maybe something else added in for good measure. Bonnie loves her foster family--wherever they are, she is, too--whether it's in the kitchen or outside in the gardens. She loves being outdoors--romping with her canine housemates, playing with balls, maybe doing a little bit of digging, or going on neighborhood walks. She also loves to cuddle in dog beds, which makes her foster family smile because she looks so peaceful and happy. Who knows--maybe she is dreaming of a forever family who will love her--and get lots of extra love right back--perhaps that is your family! Bonnie is crate and house trained. She is also spayed and micro-chipped and has all her age-appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee for Bonnie is $350. Visit www.tinymiraclespcr.org and select adoptable dogs to apply. Thank you so much for your interest in this sweet and gentle soul--she would love to be a part of your family's summer pictures.

Why adoption is a great option

Bonnie, a Chalfont Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Chalfont, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Chalfont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chalfont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chalfont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chalfont paves the way for another one to be saved.
