Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have no idea what this poor girl has been through but she's seen some S**t. When she first arrived to us she has scared of her own shadow and anyone who made any sudden movements. She was placed into a loving home that was patient and caring but she became protective of her humans and their home after a few months. This became an issue for the family and they decided it would be best for her to find a more experienced home. Andrea has now been in a foster home with a confident handler who makes her feel safe and secure. A handler who she feels she can relax with and not have to be the protector. An adult-only home would be best for her as kids can be jumpy and scare her. She does well with most other dogs and is house-trained.

All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.
Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
