My story

Diamond is approximately 5 years old. She was taken into rescue when her past owner had to move and just let her run free outside. She was pregnant, and had one live kitten Ruby on Feb. 24th. Due to having litter after litter of kittens her whole life, one of the babies was deceased inside her, and she had an emergency C-Section to remove the baby after Ruby was born. She's a sweet girl who would love to find a family who will keep her forever and spoil her after her rough start to life. She has a lot of love to give.

Diamonds Adoption is $100
This includes: Spay, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, Pyrantal dewormer, FELV/FIV testing and microchip.

Our adoption application can be found on our website kittiesforkeepsrescue.com and emailed to us at: KittiesForKeepsRescue@gmail.com

Why adoption is a great option

DIAMOND (Bonded with Ruby), a Chicago Ridge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago Ridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
