Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cookie is one lucky girl. She was rescued in the middle of a snowstorm by a good samaritan who had never had an animal before, but felt compelled to help. When Cookie fell ill, her finder connected with a friend, who connected with a animal rescuer, who had a connection to Cameron Animal Hospital. If even one of those people hadn't helped, Cookie wouldn't be with us today.
Cookie came to Cameron Animal Hospital with an advanced pyometra (uterine infection), and was so dehydrated and infected that she wouldn't have survived even a few more hours. Thankfully she made it to us in time, surgery was performed, and after several weeks of nursing care, she is fully recovered and ready for a home of her own.
Cookie is bold and beautiful and has a bold personality to match. She is expressive with her meows and her purrs, and always lets you know when she is happy, and when she is not (and you'd better fix it then!). She loves being pet and cuddled, and adores cozy squishy beds. She does not like other animals, and does not hesitate to let them know- she must be a single pet.
Cookie is healthy, FeLV/FIV negative, fully vaccinated, fecal tested and dewormed, tested for feline bartonella, and spayed.
Cookie's new family must be prepared to treat her like the princess she is, and return that love and affection in spades. Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.
