Don’t be fooled by Apollo’s unenthused and grumpy looks! On the contrary, Apollo is the biggest 65lb baby! He insists on stretching across your lap for cuddles and snuggles, ready to be held and cradled if you so much as park your behind on a couch. Apollo just thinks he is too sexy for the camera. Not just the camera. He thinks he is so cool that he appoints himself to the unofficial welcoming committee. When there are guests over, he likes to jump up to say hello but once he has given you the official welcome, he will just go and do his own thing. Extremely smart, Apollo knows exactly where toys are kept. If he sees you going in that direction, he will sit and is ready for any toys that you throw at him. Laser pointers are his favorite. Ball is a close second. His smartness doesn’t stop there. He knows when you put your shoes on, it means go outside. When he is outside and wants back in, he will ring the bell. Apollo needs his daily exercise routine to stay happy and content. Plays, walks, or zoomies in the yard and he is good to chill and just hang out, if not, you will not have peace for the rest of the night.
Apollo is 11-month-old, 65lbs, house and although crate trained, he is not a fan. He will cry and whine until you let him back out. He can be trusted to free roam. Leave him chew toys and bones, he will not touch your furniture. Give him a week or two to learn your schedule and routine, he will adapt. Apollo claims the couch as his at night. He loves to spread out and hog couch space. A grazer, Apollo likes food to be left out all day so he can eat when he pleases. Apollo wants his future family to know that he is by no means an escape artist, but if you give him opportunities, he will take you up on it! Apollo is looking for a semi-active home where daily walks or plays are a guarantee, cuddles and snuggles with his humans are a must.
