CITY OF HAWTHORNE 042222-520 (Mika) is a 3 year old Pit Mix. I am a big ball of energy, who loves everyone. My wish is to join a fun and happy home where I can be with my people all the time. My favorite day time activity is playing fetch. I could chase the ball for hours. The rubber balls are the most fun because I can never break them and they make a funny noise. I would do best in a home where I am the only animal, with the exception of my stuffed animals.

We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
