We believe Max is a beagle/chihuahua mix, or a cheagle, who is about 6 years old (his birthday is roughly March of 2016-we celebrate it on March 25th every year). On Christmas Day of 2016, our neighbor found a dog tied to a dumpster in an alley, and it looked as though he'd been tied there for a couple days. We took him to the vet to for a checkup, and he got a clean bill of health. So, he joined our family! We have had a very fun six years with Max, and it breaks our hearts to have to rehome him, but we are moving to an apartment complex that doesn't take pets.
Max is a very loving dog, but does have quite a bit of anxiety. He doesn't like being left alone at all. He will run away if he gets the chance/although he does come home, so a fenced in yard would be best. He understands many commands, even if he doesn't always listen to them!! Max loves playing with his toys, and will destroy them to get squeakers out! He is skittish and would be best in a home with no children.
