My story

Courtesy post for Ollie. He is NOT an AAHA dog and we are simply posting to help his owner find Ollie a new home. Contact Melissa at  4433857796 or mliupaeter@gmail.com .
She adopted Ollie last year but her older pup has not warmed up to him yet so she is hoping to find him a better home.

She says "he is such a lovely dog and would keep if we didn’t already have Penelope.
Loves to cuddle, play tug-a-war, couch potato, very curious (don’t leave toys or clothes on floor), he will let you know if he wants to go outside, likes car rides as long as the road is straight, shy around new people it’s takes him a minute but treats help. Crate trained. Loves being talk to like a baby with a baby voice. He melts into you when want to cuddle. Need a fence higher then 4ft he will jump it. Loves to run!"

Name: Ollie
Weight: 56lbs
Age: 2
Breed: pitbull
Health: up to date on shots
Behaviors: Shy, low energy, doesn’t like being alone, crate trained, knows sit and gives paw. Very food motivated, jumper, loves playing fetch, car rides.
People: timid, will interact for treats. Does well with kids once accumulated.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form. We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public: •We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are. •We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them. •We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way. •We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please help us help the animals!
