My story

Say hi to Missy! She traveled all the way from New Mexico. She is a 6-month-old Puggle/Beagle mix puppy (We are not sure of the mix). She is spayed and up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines. She's a friendly and playful little girl who loves to cuddle. If you are looking for a sweetie, then she is the dog for you! She has gotten along with every dog and person she meets. She's house trained and crate trained as well! And....those ears! How could anyone resist those ears?! Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, we do require a completed and approved adoption application. Please send an email to: shellyaholewinski@gmail.com to request an application. Please do not call the rescue with questions or requests as this will delay our response. Contacting us by Shelly's email is the best way to connect with us. Thank you. DATCP: 493498-DS

Why adoption is a great option

Missy, a Racine Beagle/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pug for sale in Racine, or seeking a Beagle/Pug dog from a breeder in Racine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Racine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Racine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pug breeders who help with Beagle/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Racine paves the way for another one to be saved.
