My story

Willow is a precious girl that is grateful for her chance at life. She was taken into the vet and diagnosed with a mild case of parvovirus. Her owners could not afford treatment and said to euthanize her but instead she was treated and has been living large at Dirt Road Rescues! She loves the other dogs and all people. Gives lots of kisses and loves to play. This adorable girl will be your best friend immediately. If interested in adopting Willow, please fill out an adoption application on dirtroadrescues.org and you will be contacted.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals are checked by a veterinarian before being listed to determine they are in good health. I have an application that must be completed by potential adopters. I must obtain information to speak to your veterinarian for current animal records. If you are a new pet owner, I will require three references, one being your employer. Once the application is approved, transportation options will be discussed.

More about this rescue

First and foremost, I am an animal lover and think they all deserve a loving home. I live in a rural area and find abandoned animals often or low income families that need help with pet overpopulation. I find homes for puppies and pay for spay/neuter of parents with the puppy adoption fees. I also help local shelters when they are at maximum capacity, which is often. Rescued pets are by far the most loving and loyal, and I want them all to experience being a pampered pet!
