My story

Willow is a darling little girl around 1-2 years old. She does have a little bit of anxiety and would love a home where she can be with her person the majority of the time. She does ok with most other dogs but does prefer her space when she wants it. She really just wants to be with people! She can jump very high, so will need a high fence. She is about 35 lbs. She has not met any kids or cats yet. Please call or email us if you are interested in meeting her.

Additional adoption info

Here at the Red Desert Humane Society we strive to place pets in the best homes possible. We ask that you fill out an adoption application prior to meeting our animals. One can be emailed to you. Once we receive your application we will review your application. During this process we will make calls to Landlords (if applicable). As well as your veterinarian that has provided care for your past or present pets. We ask that you provide photos of your current residence where the dog will be living. Once this is complete we ask that your bring your current animals (if any) to the shelter to meet your potential new pet as to prevent any possible problems once you get home. If all of this goes well and you are approved we will then have you sign our adoption contract as well as pay the adoption fee. Please call for our adoption fees or any other information.

More about this shelter

The Red Desert Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the placement of previously homeless animals in new, loving environments. We alter and vaccinate all animals prior to placement, and screen all applicants to ensure a lifelong match between people and pets. We also educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, proper pet care, and animal welfare. We place dogs and cats in loving, forever homes!
