Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is both blind and deaf. she is being fostered in PA
Lola is an absolutely adorable, sweet Maltese/Chihuahua mix who was born with vision and hearing impairment. Although Lola is special needs, she never got the memo, because this little girlie is just full of joy and naughtiness like any other puppy and is ready to take on the world! Lola is outgoing and social, confident and her tail never stops wagging even when giving cuddles and kisses.
She would do best in a home with another friendly, easy going dog or could be an only dog in a household that gives her lots of time and activities. Despite Lola's vision and hearing impairment, going to a good positive motivated training class and even puppy socials would be ideal for her to help raise her to be the best little bits she can be. Also other activities like nose works or tracking, just to name a couple, to work her body and mind would also be great for her. With her outgoing and friendly personality, she "might" even be suited to do pet therapy when she is older, but only time will tell.
Whatever family is fortunate enough to adopt Lola will have a lifetime of laughter and cuddles with this special little girl! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
