My story

Tabitha and Tucker are a mama son duo! Tabitha is the mama who is tabby and Tucker is the little black, brown and white tabby kitten. Tabitha is practically a kitten herself as she is only a year and a half.
If you are looking for the perfect bonded pair of kitties, then meet mom and son duo Tabitha and Tucker. They are a pair of super sweet, outgoing, and very affectionate kitties. They can’t wait to get pets and scratches from people and purr up a storm. Tucker will curl up in your lap and Tabitha will be cozied up right next to you while you work in your office or watch TV. Tucker is 5 months old, and Tabitha is still a kitten herself, so they are still super playful.
To meet this wonderful duo please go to our website SouthernCountiesRescue.org and fill out an application.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties. We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats. Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
