Taz is an American Mastiff. He is so sweet, loves everyone and looking for his forever home. Taz is very timid and has reactions like a human has been mean to him. Those days are over!! Taz will need a caring and understanding home giving him time to come out of his shell. He is NOT aggressive however he is very protective over his food when another dog is involved. He plays fine with other dogs until food or treats are near by. He is under weight currently which could be the reason for his food aggression. His behavior could change once he knows there is always going to be food.

Taz, a Mims Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Mims, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Mims.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mims already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mims breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mims paves the way for another one to be saved.
