Welcome Kelvin to CCPAL Rescue. Kelvin is a 10-week-old Hound/Akbash. They bark and sound like a Hound. They are vocal puppies and the mom is about 70 pounds. They should be bigger dogs full grown. 65 or so pounds is our best guess. They are lanky puppies and while active they are not over the top active. The girls have blue eyes. Kelvin is the most similar to the color of his mom. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. A hound is best with a fenced yard as they can scent off without a fenced yard. He has adorable droopy ears. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered soon. A person who is home some and not gone 8 hours a day would be best. He will need to finish up his puppy training. He loves other dogs and is good in a crate. He is doing good on a schedule. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or other spots on the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
