My story

Cocoa is a 9-year old lady who is being re-homed due to her owner's child having allergies. She is an affectionate kitty who will let you pick her up and will sit on your lap.

Cocoa can be adopted as part of our Seniors for Seniors program where the adoption fee is waived and medical costs are covered for the cat's life for individuals over 60 and/or on government financial assistance.

1.
Submit Application

2.
Interview

After we receive your application, we will set up a virtual interview/homecheck to meet you and make sure your home is safe for animals.

3.
Meet the Pet

Depending on where you live and where the pet is fostered, you can either meet the animal virtually or in-person.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you're approved as an adopter and you're 100% the animal is the one for you, we send you an adoption contract to sign.

5.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, we request the adoption fee. We collect adoption fees via Venmo, PayPal, cash or check.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed and the fee is paid, it's time for you to bring your new pet home!

We take time to get to know you and what you're looking for in your next best friend. Our interview process is extensive. Our relationship doesn't end at adoption day - we are here for any questions or concerns along the way!
