My story

Say hello to Honey...this pretty girl was brought in lost and no owner has come forward, so she is now available. She is high energy and very friendly! She knows sit and really enjoys her treats. This makes her highly trainable. She knows sit, shake, and lay down. She has a robust personality, she runs and jumps and jumps on you. This suggests that if there were children in the home they should be older. She certainly wouldn't intend to harm a small child, but her jumping and playful behavior could be problematic. If you would like to meet her please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter. Our new hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are closed from 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch. Then we open promptly at 12:30 pm and continue operating until 3 pm. We are also open the first Saturday of every month from 9 am to 11 am. Please come visit and bring home a new companion! We are located at 25555 Northline Rd.

Why adoption is a great option

Honey, a Taylor American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Taylor, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Taylor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
