Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dropped off as an Owner surrender. Dropped off while the humans were laughing and carrying on like nothing ever happened. They had him since he was a puppy - 8 years. They requested euthanasia. That is the experience this poor guy had while being handed over/surrendered to our rescue center. Our absolute number 1 goal is to find Fogey a home that will love him, unconditionally, until his very last breath. He does not deserve to be discarded like a joke. He deserves pets, a warm lap and treats. He deserves love, happiness, fun and laughter. This guy is new to our center so we are still getting to know him but so far, he is very quiet. He is just observant in his space and doesn't make a peep. It hurts our hearts because we know just how confused he is but we can only hope that YOU are the one for him! We can test him with other dogs and cats for a serious adopter. He may do okay in a home with children but the children must be friendly to animals and understand their needs, ques and boundaries. The 8 year old gentleman, and his soft coat, deserves happily ever after.
