Abby may not be pink and have bushy pigtails, but a little girl in her former home named her for the Muppet on Sesame Street probably because theyre both so sweet! And this Abby has managed to keep that personality even after surviving a tornado. Everyone was OK, but dealing with the aftermath forced Abbys people to ask for Whiskers TNRs help in finding her a new family. Abby would do well in any home, says her foster mom. Abby is so sweet. She loves attention on her own terms, but it doesnt take much time for her to warm up to someone. Abby just raised her last litter of kittens, who also will be available for adoption, and loves to spend time with her buddy, Mrs. Murry, a fellow mama cat who came from that storm-ravaged property. They are not bonded but are the best of friends. They raised their babies together! Abbys favorite things include being petted, sunning herself, snuggling into a cozy blanket, and she really enjoys the cat fountain. But now (cue the music) can you tell her how to get how to get to adoption street?

Whiskers TNR of Warren County aims to improve the quality of life for the county’s stray, dumped and feral cats. We also help responsible pet owners with expenses related to having their cat spayed or neutered. Whiskers provides educational information to increase public awareness of the need to better care for and prevent cats from becoming homeless. We encourage adoption and help strengthen animal rescue services throughout Warren County. Whiskers TNR of Warren County supports humane education programs for the public and encourages respect and compassion for all animals. We strive to make a difference in the community, one cat at a time. Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a corporation in the state of Iowa and is ruled by a board of directors. Whiskers is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. This means that your donation is deductible on your annual income taxes. Whiskers TNR became organized and tax exempt in June of 2016.
