My story

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.
DOB:  03/01/20 & 05/15/21

Cocoa and Carter (mother and son) came into GRASP’s care last summer and were adopted together in November, but returned in March through no fault of their own. They are very active and energetic kitties. They are looking for a home together with at least one other social kitty, lots of space to run and play, options for climbing (cat towers), and various areas for bird and squirrel watching because sitting in a good window with the best view is their main ambition each day (as you can see from the photos).

They also love humans that are around to play with wand toys and to give pets and rubs (perfect company if you work from home). Though they both love humans to play with, they still can be somewhat shy with strangers and will take time to warm up. Once they do, they both will follow you around for pets, ask for playtime, and (their favorite) mealtime!

Neither have met dogs or kids, but are anticipated to do well with any friendly and calm resident animal or older kids if given proper introductions.

This mother and son pair are curious, sweet, silly, and loving - and are just looking for that perfect forever home together!

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
