My story

Hi my name is Arrow. My best friend is Cupid and we must go home together. I am the more outgoing of the two but I am still shy. We are semi-feral so we need someone that has patience with us . We are both beautiful kitties. If you are looking for a lap cat or one that plays with you then we are not the ones for you at least not now maybe when we get used to you. We need you to show us that people aren't bad, hold us, pet us and kiss and love us. If that sounds like something you're up for then we are your duo. Please come to the shelter and ask for us.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application and go through an interview. Our adoption facilitators walk them through the shelter and help them find the perfect animal that would best match their homes. After a potential adopter signs up for a specific animal, there is a cool-down period.

We do veterinarian reference checks and follow-up telephone calls on Mondays to make sure the potential adopters are still interested. After the telephone interview has taken place, a home visit is set up and the selected animal is delivered to it's new home.

Our adoption fees are $85 for one cat or kitten and $130 for two cats or kittens. The adoption fee includes various procedures which have already been performed, such as:

  • Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency virus tests
  • Distemper shots
  • Rabies Booster
  • Preventative Dewormer
  • Spay or neuter for all cats at least 6 months of age or older
  • An adoption folder complete with an "Animal Health Log Sheet" containing the cat's health history.

Under no circumstances do our animals leave the shelter the same day they are signed up for.
