My story

We adopted Harley as a kitten when we had a lab named Baby. They didn’t love each other, but they completely coexisted in the house. The lab was also rescued and was an adult and well behaved. Unfortunately Baby had a tumor on her spine, and despite treatment, she passed away. A year later we purchased a puppy to heal my broken heart. Harley must hate the puppy because he stays in his cat tree all day. Seriously all day. At night when puppy is contained Harley will move to the couch. I’ve tried to integrate them to no avail. I even purchased a separate tree so Harley could be with us, but protected by the height of the tree. Nope, he’d have nothing to do with it. We feel terrible that this has become Harleys life. He’s a good cat and very loving. If you are looking for a loving, well behaved cat, please consider Harley. He deserves a better life than we can give him. Thanks for your consideration.
