My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This super attractive dude named Arrow is STILL looking for his forever people. He has a few things however you will need to not have to qualify for him. No young kids under 15, no small animals, no dogs in home due to jealousy. Arrow came to us from an owner that told us we had to muzzle for everything. Walks, brushing, everything. We brushed him without a muzzle and he loved it. We socialized him he greets people well except for the occasional excited body slam (oofff). He will protect his people with his life from any pesky critters. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, and shake bilaterally but that tends to be a more of a bilateral slap. Arrow is highly food driven. He loves…. That isn’t even the word for it…. Worships food. He will woo and bounce for food. He’s pretty animated. He bonds pretty fast with people and definitely prefers the ladies. But likes attention from everyone though! He can be a crab when he feels brushing should be done. He will snip and low rumbles of useless growls. I give him a rest and start all over again. When he sheds he sheds like a sheep it pulls out like wool in thick wooly pieces. I think we’ve told enough about our star arrow. We love him here so much. Oh one more thing he hates wrong word …. Detests veterinarians. He will need sedating or you will I’m unsure?

Additional adoption info

A few Steps from home animal Rescue requires a adoption contract to be filled out prior to adopting an animal. By filling this out, it does not mean you will be eligible for one of our pets. We do extensive veterinary and reference checks on all potential applicants. We do ask for a donation fee for the adoption of our animals to cover the vet care we have provided to the animals. After approval a contract is required to be signed.
