My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I hear it time and time again about Apollo "this boy should be in a home, he's a man's best friend kind of dog, the sweetest boy in the shelter " yet nobody gives him a second glance .
This boy is aging here, on April 5 , we will have had him two years . He was pulled from a homeless situation and now he lives in a kennel. While he's warm and fed and loved in the time that we can offer him, that will never replace a family .

Please consider giving this "good boy " a forever home.

I'm Apollo. I really don't feel like myself here at the shelter. I'm a little scared and not sure of everything happening in my surroundings. But, when I'm out of my cage, I relax and enjoy the company of everyone here. I really love when I can sit close to someone and cuddle." Apollo is very friendly and sweet.

He has a lot of energy and enjoys walks, exploring, and playing. Afterwards, Apollo loves to sit by you and get treats, lots of belly rubs, and attention. Human companionship is his favorite thing. This special pup is eager to learn and even knows a few basic commands.

He needs to work a little more on his leash manners; however, he does well with a harness. At this time, Apollo would do best in a home without other dogs, cats, or small children.

Apollo is outgoing and wants to be the center of your world. He will definitely win over your heart with his snuggling skills.

He's 7 years old and fully housebroken . If you would like to meet him, please apply here: www.griffinpondanimalshelter.com/adopt
