Halo - 4 yrs old - Terrier Mix- 64 pounds. Low maintenance sweetheart just wants to have her own person/family and she will give back in spades. Great companion doggie great Emotional Support Doggie!

Halo is 4 years old and is looking to begin her next chapter in a home where she gets to be spoiled with as much love as you can give. She is playful with other dogs. While she doesn't know any tricks yet, she is very food motivated and eager to please. Halo is very friendly upon meeting new people, and we know it will be her glowing personality that has everyone falling in love with her!! We do recommend slow introductions to all her new experiences – her world has been kept so small, we know in a family dynamic she will find her true self. She would do best with teen aged kids – who can engage appropriately with her. Dog social, friendly with stranger, plays with toys and food motivated. No chewing issues. She walks well on the leash but sometimes gets spooked in the Real World. She spent her life in a confined area. But she does well on her walks. She appears housebroken.

If you are serious about adopting one of our pets listed, please call or email us for more information. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We will set up a phone interview with you to see if it will be a good match for the dog/puppy and you. Then we will ask for a vet reference, and also if you rent your home or apt, we will need proof from your landlord that you are indeed allowed a dog/puppy. Then we have a contract for you to sign and get back to us, then depending on the location of the dog/puppy, we will then arrange transport.

More about this rescue

We are a group of women determined to help as many dogs as we can. We find them on the road, lonely and scared and lost, or we help save them from euthanasia at the shelters. Sometimes we also receive owner surrenders, who for what ever reason, can no longer care for their pet. They might of had to move away, or can't afford the pet or lost their homes, etc, but through no fault of the dog. The pet deserves to have a second chance in life, and we help to make that happen!!
