My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the Adoption Application*** Conrad came in with his sisters, Connie & Coral. He is a shy kitty, but is really starting to come around to people coming into his room & he's decided that he really loves a good head scratching & isn't really too shy to ask you for it. He gets along very well with everyone in the blue room & we feel that he'd do best in a quiet home with another calm kitty, similar to his best buddy Hubert, who really helped him to realize his love for people & the wonderful attention they can give him. Conrad is up to date on vaccinations & is neutered. As always, all cat & kitten adoption fees are a free will donation for approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
