My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiki: 7 month old spayed female lab mix, about 26 lbs
Kiki is just a total love bug her foster mom says. She is on the skinny side but getting plenty to eat now and will round out soon. Her foster family says Kiki is playful and full of energy and loves to cuddle. She gets along and plays well with other dogs. She appears to be house trained (no accidents in the house) and is crate trained. She has learned sit and we are working on stay and not jumping on people when excited. She is protective of her food around other dogs so she will need to be crated when fed if there are other dogs in the home. Kiki is just a such a sweet girl and such a puppy. She is ready for her forever family to show her the ropes!

Additional adoption info

4Paws2Love's goal is to place homeless dogs into loving forever homes. We do this by taking special care in matching the right companion with the adopter(s), thus ensuring a lifetime of love and happiness for both the companion and the adopter.

Where do our companions come from? All of the companions in our program come from city/rural shelters where their lives were at risk of euthanasia. We are their guardians and their voice. We are committed to ensure that each and every companion, has the best possible "furever" home and that commitment is taken very seriously.

Please understand our rescue organization is solely run by volunteers who are not paid, that dedicate their time to help the companions in our program find the best possible home. The entire adoption process may take some time and we are not willing to sacrifice being thorough with our companion's future is at stake. We truly thank you for investing the time and patience throughout our adoption process.

More about this rescue

Our Mission:
4Paws2Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no kill, all volunteer run animal rescue serving the DFW Texas and surrounding area . Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, spay/neuter, provide them the necessary medical care and match them to a foster home until we can find the right match for their forever home. We do not have a physical shelter, instead we operate primarily through foster homes, online databases, and meet and greet events.

4Paws2Love is committed to provide all dogs in our care the best opportunity to find the right match for the dog as well as the adopter. Our process helps adopters and pets find the best possible match for each.

4Paws2Love relies on our foster community and they are the backbone of our organization. It is our goal to provide the best experience possible by matching the pet with the foster based on their needs, lifestyle, restrictions or desires when fostering. We encourage our fosters to become as involved with our organization as they feel comfortable.

4Paws2Love strives to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better place for homeless animals.
