My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ACT FAST for these handsome gents, they're top-of-the-line guinea pigs, and won't be available for long!

ASTRO has the white streak down his forehead. He's an inquisitive fellow, curious and brave. He's the first to sniff about, explore, and say "hello" in the morning. He likes being held, and he'll tell you all about his day as well! Astro is friendly and active, but also settles nicely when held in a lap. He's a GREAT pig! He's mostly black, but has the white on his face and some white and brown near his bum. His forehead has a very cute little crest, and he likes it gently rubbed.

OTTO is the sweetheart with the dark face. Something cute about Otto is the way he lumbers, like a black bear, emerging from hibernation. He's a soft and gentle fellow, and responds well to soft and gentle movements. Otto might not be as bold as Astro generally, but that's not the case when he hears that dinner is served! He'll chat and chat, telling you that he's ready! Otto is mostly black, but he has beautiful tiny white stars on his face and paws, and some brown and white patches on his bum as well. You can see his cute white paws in the photos! Aww!

Astro and Otto are a bonded pair, which is awesome! Guinea pigs love having a buddy around, and these two gentleman pigs are a delightful combo. They're everything that's lovely in guinea pigs--friendly, vocal, soft, cuddly, and handsome! They arrived at the foster in need of a little TLC; they'll respond well to a spacious enclosure with spaces to explore! You can play a fun game and help them discover their favorite veggies! (Everybody wins!)

These gents are approximately 3 or 4 years old. Guinea pigs can live to be 7 or 8 years old, so these guys are looking for a home to spend their best years! In their middle age, they're the classy type who sit outdoors on nice days and read about Sherlock Holmes. They don't bite or scratch, they just hang out and eat snacks, and head-butt your arm if you forget to pet them for a second.

Astro and Otto want to love you. They gather at the front of the cage in the morning and, even when the food is placed, they still just want to hang out with you. So, reach out and inquire today! These handsome faces will be placed in no time...is yours the lucky home?

Adoption fee is $30 for each piggie. Our guinea pigs are fostered throughout Michigan. Please note: Skinny piggies are $50 each. Cages are available for an additional fee.
