My story

GEORGE doesn't understand why no-one seems to want him. He purrs, he smiles, he waves... but everyone just walks right by. He can't help that he is FIV+. It's making him sad. He so wants affection, he will be loving and thankful forever. We recommend that George be with another FIV+ kitty or be the only king kitty of the castle.



FIV is not a death sentence, it is an immunity issue. FIV+ cats (and ALL cats) need to get routine vet care and be kept indoors, so they get treated for any illnesses early and aren't exposed to viruses and things. Many, many FIV+ cats live normal, long lives with it. Apply at WhiskersPetRescue.org

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity of volunteers committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them in loving forever homes.
