My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misha is a five-year-old greyhound weighing approximately 75 pounds. He has been at Fast Friends for eight months now and he is thriving here, which tells us he would thrive so much faster in a great home that understands that they need to move slow with him.
Misha is a quiet guy in the kennel and only barks when he knows it's time for his meals. He loves other dogs, and we are hopeful to be able to find him a home with another dog. Misha is not picky about which dog friends he plays with, if they are okay with his gentle giant personality.
He is playful, and happy with squeaky toys. He loves to throw stuffed toys around — he has a favorite big stuffed dog that he cuddles with in his bed.
Misha seems to really like the snow and loves pool time in the summer.

When Misha first came to Fast Friends, he was very reserved. He wouldn’t sniff around on walks — he would just look straight ahead. He wouldn’t even play during playtime. But over time, with patience and some new four-legged friends, he is now much more comfortable. Even playtime seems more enjoyable to him and he enjoys his walks.

Misha is a skittish dog towards strangers, and, at times, can still be shy even with people he knows. However, he has made huge strides with us at Fast Friends, and his goofy personality sneaks out more and more.
Misha wouldn't take treats from our hands for months when he first arrived but is slowly beginning to be comfortable snagging that treat out of your hand when it's offered to him. He walks great on leash but, will pull slightly to avoid things that scare him (which is pretty common in shy dogs)
If you are ready to add this handsome and sweet boy to your family and feel Misha may be a good fit for your home, please submit an application.
