My story

Cora is 3 years old and weighed in at 70 lbs. She may be 3 years old, but she still has energy to burn. Of course, in the shelter environment it is stressful so once she is settled in a home her energy level will likely be less. However, she is obviously in good health and can run with the least until the weather gets hot. Cora seems to be good with cats or at least through a window she didn't care. Of course, as always slow introductions are the best. Cora is like most labs and treats are definitely her favorite thing! She seems to know "Sit", but certainly needs a refresher. She does pull on the leash because she has places to go and things to see...her words! Cora is available for adoption now.

Why adoption is a great option

Cora, a Springdale Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Springdale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Springdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
