Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gorgeous, gem of an old lady dog! Adoption fee waived.
Maci is possibly a hospice senior who is just looking for a quiet home to live out her last year or so. We are looking for a home for Maci with a fenced backyard and another nice dog. Maci loves to tinker around a yard and also has lived with other dogs before and she enjoys the company.
Maci is 15 years old and 34lbs- she's tiny! She came to us from a Texas shelter who confiscated 40 AKC American Staffordshire Terriers from a conformation handler who had too many dogs.
Maci is a total gem! Very sweet, couch queen who just needs a low key, easy final home. Maci enjoys short walks and still has some pep in her step! She does not crate well and needs a home where she can be out of a crate in the home.
Maci takes Cosequin DS (from Costco) once a day as a supplement and Gabapentin morning and evening for her hips. We just had a senior bloodpanel run on her on 5/9/22 and are awaiting results. She has a couple lumps on her hind end and her teeth are not in great shape. If her bloodwork comes back stable we may proceed with removing the lumps and doing a dental on her. If her bloodwork is not great, our veterinarian has recommended not putting her through a surgery.
Maci's adoption fee has been waived to help her find a wonderful home.
