Vetting Done: up to date on shots and rabies, waiting on spay. Does seem to get a little arthritis in her hips after long walks.
If Dogs are Housebroke, Crate-Trained, and Leash Trained: she has not had a single accident in the house so I believe she is house trained! We have not crated her since she has some anxiety when not in site of you or other animals. She walks pretty well on a leash and in no time can be a great walking companion!
Sleep in Bed, if so Adopter should allow that for a Happy Dog: we allow her to come on the couch and sleep in bed if she chooses. She needs help getting up on a bed, and doesn’t always climb all the way up on a couch but she seems to enjoy it when she does get up there.
If Dogs are good with Dogs, Cats and Kids if known: she has not been exposed to kids, but is great with other dogs! She is extra curious with cats and likes to chase them, and mouth them if given the opportunity. Would suggest a home without cats, but she would love a doggy companion. She seems to get a little bit of alpha attitude, but isn’t overly dominant.
State FENCED YARD if needed.: would suggest fenced in yard.
Likes & Dislikes: maple isn’t the biggest fan of treats, but she does like cheese! She will gladly take a treat but sometimes just drops it to be polite. She is learning so many new things since becoming a house dog just a few short weeks ago. She is an anxious girl and prefers to have someone around, or a dog companion. She is learning how to be dog, and enjoy all the luxuries one should have! Maple does enjoy walks, playing with friends, and learning how toys work. She does have a sensitive Stomach and we are working to see if it is just anxiety or food related. My guess is both.
