Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

A stray cat had 4 kittens in our shed and abandoned them. Unfortunately we already have 4 cats and cannot keep them. Sammy was the weakest of the 4 when we found them. He was smaller than the others, more timid, very scared. He took the longest to come out of his shell, but oh boy once he did, he turned into this playful sweet little boy. He's so full of energy, and life. He can play a little rough at times(his sister Daphne knows all too well), but hes the biggest sweetheart. He loves to climb, and his favourite spot is the sides of his neck for pets. He's very sentimental to me because he reminds me of a dear friend who lost his fight with depression. Very reclusive until you got to know who he really was. Thats why his name is Sammy, after my dear friend Sam.

Why adoption is a great option

Sammy, a Kings Mountain Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Kings Mountain, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Kings Mountain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kings Mountain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kings Mountain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kings Mountain paves the way for another one to be saved.
